As required by the Federal Government a COVIDSafe Plan has been created for the return to training, ensuring compliance with the Roadmap and Frameworks.
As we are located in NSW we have to follow that state governments recommendations. Clicking here will take you to the latest on "What you can and can't do under the rules" under the NSW Government.
I have reviewed the federal government framework and roadmap as well as the AIS Framework for Rebooting Sport in a COVID-19 Environment and come up with the plan shown below.
Firstly, no matter the stage of the plan, a person must stay home if they have the slightest following symptoms:
Fever, shortness of breath, joint pain, cough, runny nose, sore/scratchy throat, muscle/joint pain
Apply antiseptic gel to hands and feet before & after training
Weapons sprayed and cleaned with 70% alcohol before & after use
No sharing or swapping of weapons
BYO drink bottle, towel and mask
Mats will be cleaned/sprayed before & after each training session with 70% alcohol
Easy to remove footwear to be worn to and from mats
Wearing of special footwear on mats to be considered.
